About Me

I am living out the maxim that sometimes the only transportation available is a leap of faith.

I’m the divorced mother to three active, busy children. While they attend school and activities, I practice law in a civil litigation firm as their “of counsel” which means that I handle the criminal matters and help them in whatever ways they need. My experience and training is as a felony prosecutor, but I’m rapidly learning the ways of property, business, child custody, construction and personal injury law.

These children and I moved to a big city recently so they could attend some of the best public schools in the state and live among godparents and good friends who back me up and serve as the village every single working mama and her children need.

It’s a wild ride, but I have to believe it’s worth it.

I am so thoroughly proud of you.

I could add to your list of 10 with no trouble, but don’t want to get gushy here.

    Hello dear friend!
Just reading a few of these blogs reminds me of so many things and makes me feel like I’m right there. I’m reminded of after dinner drives to the Assembly, Cross and other places. Oh dear friend, you were so missed in Mexico. Take care of yourself and we will get together again soon!

Sounds like a “soccer mom.” The things we do for our children. Austin was gone for spring break and I was less than useless.

I met your mom today, Mary, at the Apple Store, where I work while pursuing ministry. She said you were a huge C. S. Lewis fan. I look forward to reading your blog. ~Josh
